Sunshine Farming in the rain

Richards Bay
Bass Dam
Conservation 101

The water pond behind the LAC centre, now called Marlin Mall, has grown back to its former glory. This comes after rain brought some relief during the prolonged drought.

Interesting on even this scale how Nature protects itself. During the drought this little water mass was completely dry and become over grown on the edges. Protecting what little is left of fish stock.

Amongst this newly created bio zone, bird life is flourishing and this little wonder has become a bird watching paradise. From Cormorants hunting between the reeds to Herons finding comfort in standing up strait blending with their surroundings.

Nature surviving it's Urban Surroundings.
