St Lucia Armed Robbery - Shout Out for Charl Koen

St Lucia Estuary Spar being Robbed. 

Local Tour Guide and Operator Charl Koen saw the Armed robbery taking place at Spar around 19:00. Made U Turn and raced to the Entrance Gate of St Lucia Estuary ... calling the Assistance of Nyala Security to close the only exit from town.

The first vehicle with the armed robber occupants pushed the Nyala Security Vehicle out of the way as they exited from the town. In the video you can see The Nissan Hardbody of Extreme Nature Tours, Charl Koen, blocking the road on the left towards the pavement. 

Charl makes a brief appearance from the shelter of the Guard House at the entrance as he warned his friend coming into town with the white bakkie   and trailer.  Charl moved like speed of lighting back to the cover of the guard house  when they started firing shots scaring off the people who tried to block their escape route.

Spar was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money. Tourist was relieved of their wallets and Passports. Since St Lucia and the 640 000 people surrounding the World Heritage site has become totally dependent on International Tourism ... This incident is taken very seriously by locals that makes a living from this Industry. 

Everyone is affected by National Domestic Politics and Violence. On top of this the drought play a large role in local's surrounding the park mainly living as subsistence farmers.  Over the past 16 years the World Heritage management has alienated traditional fishing tourist. Locally make carving sales has plunged and International Tourist cannot export local Crafts because of the raw untreated materials used.

Luckily No One Got hurt. ... Words one hate to use because of the unnecessary exuberant high volumes of violent crime  being committed by Gun Wielding Criminals.

Nyala Armed response was one of many that threw themselves in harms way to stop the perpetrators to exit the town. This is a very brave thing to do. So many could have been hurt. God's will no one was hurt. St Lucia is brazing itself against the onslaught on the tourism industry.

People are willing to fight for their lives to protect their livelihood and the Industry. This is a shout out to everybody that helped at the gate. Not everyone wants their names mentioned, but we take note of the passion that they proofed to have towards making St Lucia a safe and better place.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder - Non Military

The statistics released by the South African Police Services appear below. Pardon me if I believe they have been “watered down” considerably. That and the fact that many victims do not bother to report the crimes cause me to doubt the accuracy of the reports. I believe we have, not hundreds but THOUSANDS of people/civilians walking around suffering from various degrees of Post Traumatic Stress.
“Many people think about PTSD in the context of military combat and war veterans. However, PTSD symptoms can develop from experiences involving serious accidents, life-threatening illnesses, physical abuse, and sexual assault during childhood or adulthood. A traumatic event that precedes the onset of PTSD can be experienced either directly or indirectly by an individual. Learning how a loved one died a violent death, or watching someone be assaulted, are examples of indirect trauma exposure. A trauma, whether directly or indirectly experienced, often threatens a person’s sense of self, world, and future, causing trauma-exposed”

Tonight at 19:00 St Lucia Spar was hit by 10 men armed with AK47. Several shots were fired as they escaped through the only entrance. That is where the video was made of the shots fired. The triple speed bumps is to slow people down so high quality CCTV Footage is possible. 

No one injured. The one vehicle was forced of the road by SAPS St Lucia. But they shot at them and escaped on foot. All suspects still at large. At time of publication no injuries was reported yet. Seems everyone witnessing this and in the middle of this seems to be okay, but just shaken.

Religion is one of the more sensitive subject matters. To invoke confrontation on Facebook about your Religious beliefs and Standing is as Criminal as Freedom of Speech can get. You are moving in a multi cultural dynamic World With a lot of Fanatics and Psychopaths. No Christian has the right to invoke other Religions to Conflict because the are keyboard Warriors. If you cannot accept this be aware that you might estrange Peaceful people from your views and from Jesus and his work.

Not all of us are self righteous crusaders and don't belief Every One has the  Right to invoke Hate from people that could have been converted by our Actions and Not our Deeds. Facebook is one of those places where you choose your battles. When you invited to a Group You have the Right to leave the Group or Abide by the Rules of the Group. By raping the Rules means you have violated your right to freedom of speech.

The fact that any one can add you to a Group does not mean you have the right to violate that Groups Rights under Facebook terms and conditions. Does not matter how violated you feel by being added to the group without your consent. That is something you have to take up with the Host. Groups is Facebook's way of violating your rights of Association. Take up the Struggle with Facebook. By invoking Religious tension does not serve your right to exercise your right to freedom of association.

It merely initiate what the Dark Side is opting for. The Dark Side is batting disrupt the harmony of a community. You are tasked to abide by the rules and leave the group if it is offensive, but to use a non religious group topic specific Group to initiate hate and discontent is not What Righteous People Do.

Take your struggles to your environment and have it out there.... But Never Call god Fearing people Satanic or Santinist ... We may be Anti-Jesus because of previous actions of people like you, but we Are Hardly void of knowledge of God and his Angles vs Satan and his Demons.
