The Gauteng government appears hell-bent on weeding out Afrikaans as a language of instruction in schools in the province.

It has converted 119 schools that were either Afrikaans-medium or dual-medium to English-medium. Many of these schools were in coloured areas around the province, where Afrikaans is a dominant language and culture.

According to statistics from the office of Gauteng education department MEC Panyaza Lesufi, only eight former Afrikaans medium schools, three in Pretoria, three in Johannesburg, one in Krugersdorp and one in Springs, were converted to English-medium schools.

Lesufi’s statistics further showed that a total of 43 dual-medium schools in coloured areas were converted to English-medium schools. A total of 16 of these schools are situated in the coloured area Eldorado Park. Read More ...

Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Lindiwe Sisulu has welcomed Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Foreign Minister Jullie Bishop’s retraction of controversial comments made by their home affairs minister‚ Peter Dutton‚ regarding the South African land redistribution process.

Dutton sparked a diplomatic row between the two countries when he told media he believed white South African farmers deserved “special attention” because they faced violence and land seizures.

In Exodus 19:5 God says, "If you will obey My voice and keep My covenant, you shall be My own possession among all the peoples; for all the earth is mine." 

So for those who think they are superior you only superior with love if you keep the covenant, but everything else is still God's. So if you are offended by people on earth you are offended by God's Creation and you have no way to mistreat God's Creation.

Julius Malema het ons, blanke grond eienaars en mede burgers van Suid Afrika, uitgedaag tot n mags oorname van ons grond. EEF het in tussen tyd dit ontken, maar die YouTube kanale is vol bewyse waar Malema vir die swart arm man uitdaag om nie meer bang te wees vir die wit grond eienaars nie. Ek is jammer om ons land se Intelligensie Korps mee te deel dat dit glad nie Grondwetlik aanvaar baar is dat Julius Malema, n mislukte Kool Boer van Limpopo, ons weerlose mense en boere op plase se lewens in gevaar stel nie deur haat spraak nie.

He also represented the Conservative Party on the Standing Committees of Parliament dealing with the Provincial Affairs of Natal, as well as Trade and Commerce.

Derby-Lewis lost his seat after the 1989 election, and was subsequently appointed to the State President's Council, an advisory group, where he served as a member of the Economic Affairs and the Amenities Committees.^[10]

Derby-Lewis has a long history of racially inflammatory remarks, a number of which were considered off-putting even by his Conservative Party colleagues who themselves favoured a racially divided South Africa. In 1989 he claimed in Parliament that "If AIDS stops Black population growth it will be like Father Christmas."^[11] Similarly, that same year he was overheard remarking "What a pity" in response to a report by a minister that an aircraft had had to brake to avoid a black man on the runway at Johannesburg's airport (he later apologised, claiming it had just "slipped out").^[2] Commenting on this, Andries Beyers (a senior party official at the time) said: "I think sometimes he became an embarrassment to us. He was very, very hardline. He had a calling to bring English-speakers to the CP, but his personal style put them off."^[12]
